Fantasy Trees

The early morning snow of yesterday left the trees looking like enlargements of those in little tabletop villages . Each one was coated in white , as though someone had blown baby powder all over them ! The evergreens were the most spectacular...each variety showing its unique form...every needle outlined . The other species were similarly highlighted and absolutely gorgeous ! It's been so cold lately that this show lasted into the early afternoon . There is so much beauty , even in unexpected places , to fill the heart ! The trick is to savor it and still keep your eyes on the road !
