Almost forgot...

I wanted to tell you about a surprise last night ! Sometimes while watching tv,Mother will want to chat,so the volume goes on mute to accomodate her.This happened last night and, during one of the lapses in conversation,there was a strange sound from outside . It was either an old-movie Indian scout sending signals to a cohort or...it really was an owl ! We traded hoots for a good five minutes...hoo,hoo hoo hoo hoo,hoooo . I was so tickled at the response,but the look on Mother's face reduced me to helpless laughter..clearly,she thought I was nuts ! Ah,well...
