Speaking of Weather...

Yesterday's weather contained a surprise ! Tucked into the slanting,Nor'easter wind-driven rain were these strange bits . As we watched the downpour, slightly mezmerized,my attention was distracted by something odd in the rain . It made only an occasional appearance at first...causing one to doubt the sighting. As the storm intensified,the bits were more frequent until there was no more room for doubt . Boys and girls...it's snowing !!! Thankfully, it was too warm for it to accumulate and the bits melted on contact. I will state emphatically that I am not ready for snow. Those who know me well know that I am never ready for the stuff (except for the kind in the earlier post in the archives here) . Although grateful for the available layers to keep warm,couldn't we just have moderate weather that didn't require such measures ?? This probably fits into the "nobody's ever satisfied with what they have" category...like those with curls who wish they didn't and vice versa. Nevermind. A burst of brilliant sunshine just broke forth to comfort and encourage after the storm. Time for a hot cup of tea with Mother !
