Time Off

Has it really been a week since the last post ? My , how time flies !
The evening out fizzled , as one friend was unavoidably detained by an unexpected meeting . The volunteer and I passed an interesting time in conversation , and a good time was had by all .
This is my day "off" and again , without a hoped-for outing . The time has been profitably spent , however . The search goes on for an affordable phone service that will transport my current number to the new line . The cell options would cost as much as the current one I'm trying to replace . MagicJack seems the answer to most needs , but they don't as yet have the capability to port over my current number (something necessary , considering all those to be notified of a new one !) ...and the search goes on...
While out , I stopped at a little restaurant Mother and I used to frequent . It's so nice to go where one is known and have a quiet meal .
The day has been marked thus far with peace and appreciation for this time alone and the gorgeous Spring beauty around me . Funny...when anticipated plans fall through , something lovely floats up to enrich you . What a wonderful gift !
