Mixed Bag

The snow fell last night , as predicted...an inch or two of wet,mushy stuff . Today , young movers and shakers are arriving to earn a few bucks shovelling . They travel by cars and trucks of every age and condition ,coming in waves ( the smart ones come early , leaving the late sleepers for the late comers ). The rain will dissolve what snow the pennypinchers possess and everyone's happy . Great to see the American work ethic strong and present !
A winter-resistant friend has sent another exotic photo site ! The location of choice is in Moorea , French Polynesia . To say the pictures are gorgeous would be a vast understatement !The rooms are individual rustic cottages...each is light , airy , serene, private and wildly romantic ! It is , indeed , the stuff of dreams ! They are offering a Honeymoon Package to newlyweds , anniversary celebrants , or those simply wanting an over-the-top fanciful getaway . It includes special service , champagne , gifts...an embarassment of riches ! Let's see...beautiful,tropical Moorea...or the cold,wet snow of the Northeast...hmmmm.Okay , no contest !!! I'm going to Moorea ! ( at least in my mind ! ) That such beauty still exists is marvelous...to be able to visit must be breathtaking ! I wish you warmth and beautiful dreams !
