Frrrrrrigiddd...

It is mid-morning , grey and cold...the temps are in the single digits and the Summer Girl is less than pleased ! Yes,I know those freezing temperatures are necessary to kill off the ticks ,etc., to protect us from Lyme's disease and other awful stuff,for which I'm thankful . It just seems so much more effort is required to get out of the house...so many layers at each phase...out from under some (however reluctantly ! ) and into others for inside the house...still more for outside !
I once saw a tiny oil painting at a resort art museum,showing a little girl ,obviously garbed for the cold by an overprotective mother and unable to move . The title was "Overstuffed Child " !
Yup , that's us !
