Sweet Tea & conversation... a lovely way to spend a day

Update

After rereading last night's post , I realized the example of photographing something beautiful on a trainwreck kind of day , didn't really reflect the intent of the "therapy " . More to the point are the times when physical labor was expended to redirect stress . The most intense example has to be the time a 10'x6'x3' deep koi pond was dug...by me...alone(except for an hour's investment by a friend)...by hand . Don't get me wrong , I'm a big fan of power tools and grownup Tonka toys ! There are , however , times when actual hard work is the only way to vent stress . Loading , transporting and unloading and building garden borders with 60-100 blocks would also fit the category , although to a lesser degree . How freeing to take a situation that is out of one's control and expend energy to create something positive from disaster ! Although the memory of the situation remains , the sting is blunted by the beautiful creation that resulted from it . If the best revenge is living well , surely this therapy is a step in the right direction !
