Tea and Conversation

This is an odd morning .
The usual morning chores were accomplished -feeding the outdoor birds and fish , attending to the needs of Madam Foo-Foo Queen Gabby Kitty , watering plants in and out , etc. The activity normally filling the next space... feeding me... remains purposely undone . There is a blood test required by a new doctor whose only appointment time is midday . Water is permitted , but nothing else for twelve hours prior to the test . Needless to say , the Food Channel on TV is to be avoided , as are meal planning and needless lingering in the fridge !
   Planning for the time after , a small cooler is packed with chilled water and a high protein Boost . Not really a big deal...just different from the normal routine .
