Last night dumped another 12" on the good , the bad and everybody in between ! As I am now one of those who must be out in this stuff , the car was duly cleared and the driveway shoveled . This community is not one to respond to the clearing of roads with foot-deep snow , with any degree of spritely-ness . There are no "persons-of-note " here , whose egos must be stroked with instant plowing . What is one to do ? Sigh...put the car in third gear and chug through it .
The main roads were plowed , salted and beginning to clear . Heavy vehicles of all descriptions were pressed into service and wore the requisite wobbly plow on their fronts . I even passed several cement trucks so-adorned !
The picnic spot from the previous post was a classic postcard picture , with snow piled and outlining each branch . Snow drifts swirled around the tree trunks like so much meringue . It was so still and beautiful...perfect !
