Whispers of Spring

Today is beautiful ! There is a tease of Spring in the air , as we enjoy temperatures in the low 50's (forecast to last until Thursday , when rain descends again) . The robins have been here since last month , flocking on barely green lawns , hoping for newly defrosted bugs . Mornings begin with that darling sound of flirty birdsong and sunlight streaming through the crystals in the windows to splash vibrant rainbows on walls and bedding . What luxury !
The nesting instinct has struck...Spring Cleaning is afoot ! Suddenly the clutter of winter has become unbearable and nothing will do , but to tear through it all and purge ! The dreaded lists
litter the desk , distilling each task to minute detail . A sense of ruthlessness is rearing its head and items once given a reprieve are now to exit the premises , either to donations or the dreaded trash can ! Walls still untouched from our initial move will finally get their coat of new color ( yes , I know , I've been talking about the painting for awhile...) . Next month should bring a tidying-up for the garden...but , I'm getting ahead of myself...again !
